Advancing People and Culture Initiatives with an Interim CHRO

January 15, 2025 Rachel Nevins

A labor and workforce nonprofit urgently needed a CHRO to move on immediate projects and priorities but wasn’t ready to begin the search for a full-time hire. The ideal interim leader would manage day-to-day HR operations while advancing critical modernization workstreams and organization-wide objectives that would lay the groundwork for the eventual right-fit permanent CHRO hire.

Business Talent Group (BTG) paired the client with an experienced culture and people leader adept at creating diverse, dynamic, and sustainable cultures within organizations in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape. This consultant’s experience with HR transformations in both nonprofit and corporate settings allowed her to lead workstreams to advance core HR policies, implement a new performance management framework, and enhance HRIS functionality and integrations, effectively establishing the foundation for the full-time CHRO and cultivating a positive work culture across the organization.
