Interim Finance Manager

June 10, 2019 Leah Hoffmann

A finance manager at an F100 pharmaceutical company was going on maternity leave, and the company needed a highly experienced temporary replacement to manage compliant revenue accounting processes for their commercial teams as well as execute critical end-of-year projects.

Business Talent Group delivered an interim finance manager who’d previously been a senior financial analyst at Baxter. This consultant had deep expertise in financial planning and analysis across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries; she also brought 10+ years of post-MBA experience in data innovation tools, business process flow documentation, and financial modeling and forecasting.

She worked, both remotely and onsite, full-time for 27 weeks not only to maintain the company’s accounting needs throughout the duration of the maternity leave, but also to assist with quarterly close activities, year-end reporting, process improvements, and the development of training documents.

Value: Immediate, high-level interim financial executive to seamlessly fill a major gap during a maternity leave
