Continuous Improvement Initiatives Across an R&D Organization

The R&D strategy and Operations team at a large pharma company had developed a high-level vision and detailed design plan for their Continuous Improvement (CI) Program and needed help implementing the initiatives in order to bring drugs to market faster.

To get the work done, Business Talent Group (BTG) provided a team of two consultants consisting of a former Optum director, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with a strong background leading CI projects and transformations, and a former Accenture consultant and seasoned PM with extensive experience in change management, process design, and performance improvement. The two BTG consultants supported the four workstreams and worked cross-functionally to support the overall initiative, including CI support training and methods, process ownership, leadership, governance and prioritization, and CI culture and change management.
