Overseeing the relocation and rebranding of a spin-off acquisition

A $15B company was integrating a new acquisition following its spin-off from another multinational corporation. As part of the integration, the leadership team was seeking seasoned project managers and strategists to support all workstreams related to facility relocation and rebranding initiatives. These experts would lead the building, refurbishing, and shutdown of various international and domestic properties and oversee key workstreams and stakeholders for the duration of the move.

BTG connected the client with a project leader with more than twenty years of experience leading global and domestic real estate and facility transformation projects, streamlining business processes, supporting organizational design and realignment initiatives, and more. To round out the team, BTG also deployed a former CFO turned independent transformation leader with deep project and program management and culture and stakeholder assimilation experience; a former Accenture manager and independent organizational development and change management consultant; and an independent business and IT consultant with 15 years of experience managing, leading, and blending cross-functional and global teams in complex industry environments.

Together, this team of experts successfully designed a global project governance structure—including plans for change management, communications, and the definition of organizational roles and responsibilities. With these plans in place, the team completed the strategic office and facility buildouts as well as the transition and conversion away from facilities shared with its former parent organization, ultimately rebranding all facilities under the acquiring company’s identity.
