Establishing a Reliable PPE Supply Chain During COVID

May 27, 2020 Summer Foote

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a large home healthcare provider launched a crisis response initiative to prepare the company to safely provide services. Historically, this business had used limited amounts of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), but in the pandemic environment, the company needed to access dramatically larger quantities of protective equipment and distribute it across various states and facilities in real-time

The Chief Strategy Officer reached out to Business Talent Group looking for a supply chain expert with real connections into the global PPE supply chain. BTG delivered a PPE supply chain expert and former operations executive with experience and key connections at many large healthcare organizations. As a result, the company was able to secure and distribute supplies and safely operate in the changing environment.
