Designing Benefits for Healthcare Spin-Off Employees

A next-gen healthcare startup, positioned within PPO and Medicare coverage, required an HR consultant with benefits expertise to advise the Chief People Officer on crafting a benefits package for employees impacted by a recent home care practice spin-off.

Business Talent Group (BTG) deployed a senior HR consultant with over 20 years of experience in designing benefits programs specifically for companies undergoing spin-offs. The consultant collaborated with the legal team, payroll, and benefits managers to design a total rewards package tailored to the new company’s needs. After presenting recommendations to the executive team, the consultant provided project and change management support to ensure successful implementation. This initiative resulted in a competitive benefits package that supported employee retention and satisfaction during the organizational transition.
