Clinical Process Improvement for Product Development

A Fortune 500 medical device company needed external expertise to evaluate the company’s current standing and provide feedback to improve best practices, competencies, and procedures for new product and clinical development.

Business Talent Group (BTG) provided a former McKinsey consultant, operating executive, and MD/MBA with deep experience in new product development in the diagnostics and pharmaceutical space. The consultant performed an analysis and provided an external perspective and best practices on the functional area of medical affairs as it relates to the practices, competencies, and procedures for new product development in the client’s diagnostics systems group. The final project deliverable included synthesized findings in a presentation and corresponding written report inclusive of priority areas and recommendations for improvement.
