Streamlining and Increasing Recruitment During COVID

May 27, 2020 Summer Foote

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, a plastics and packaging manufacturing company experienced an uptick in product demand and needed to make critical operations changes to accommodate rapid growth. The company needed to revamp its recruitment process in order to keep its manufacturing plants adequately staffed, so the CEO and CHRO reached out to Business Talent Group.

BTG delivered an experienced HR leader with recruitment process design and operations experience in a manufacturing setting. The interim leader was able to tackle two workstreams: rapidly hiring into the flagship plant to keep pace with demand, and piloting and rolling out improved manufacturing recruitment processes across all plants in anticipation of rapid growth and changing operations amidst the COVID-19 epidemic.
